KIT CARE FIRE EXTINGUISHER RECHARGING/SERVICING/INSPECTION COMPARISON GUIDE

KIT CARE PROGRAM

1. On inspection, KC performs a complete Fire Extinguisher Service in accordance with NFPA #10 Standard. All hoses are taken apart and cleaned, valve is blown out, powder is broken up, new seal is provided along with tag dated and signed, extinguisher is cleaned.
   
2. On recharging, extinguisher is taken away and work is completed in a controlled lab facility with an observation of 24 hour quarantine period.
   
3. KIT CARE leaves a "loaner" when extinguisher is removed from premises.
   
4. KIT CARE fully recharges the extinguisher, removes and discards all existing chemicals left in extinguisher and replaces with fresh chemical.
   
5. KIT CARE uses the original chemical of the particular manufacturer of the fire extinguisher in accordance with the label instructions.
   
6. KIT CARE recharges with nitrogen gas only which is not flammable.
   
7. KIT CARE never charges for internal replacement parts, such as "0" rings, valves, valve seats, etc.
   
8. KIT CARE will charge only for external parts that are damaged, such as handles, gauges, hoses, and advise customer in advance.
   
9. KIT CARE charges for external replacement parts only. There is no charge for labour.
   
10. KIT CARE never charges for pick up and delivery.
    
11. KIT CARE never charges for minimum billing for any type of service.
    
12. KIT CARE provides complete videos on Fire Safety on a loan basis at no charge.
    
13. KIT CARE provides Fire Safety Training on the useage of Fire Extinguishers at no charge.

COMPETITORS

1. Most others just visually look at the extinguisher, sign the tag, and date same.
   
2. Some do the actual recharging on the spot, thus running the risk of extinguisher leaking because there is no quarantine period.
   
3. Most others do not leave a "loaner".
   
4. Others top up with chemical that has been used and charge for a complete recharge.
   
5. Others use a generic chemical rather than the manufacturers own recommended chemical replacement.
